Anyone who applies for SLPA , should know that they do not emphasize the following on their admissions page 1. Log in at mid night of enrollment date, for example if the application date(s) are September 27th - October1st. Make sure you login at 11:59 and be the first to enroll. I know this from experience as I have done it and the office will tell you there were many candidates before you logged in hence you did not get in...this is15 minutes after you login. They will keep insisting the selection is 'random' not sure what that means. 3. They also say if you apply at least three times, you are bound to get into the program fourth time for sure. 4. Having said that, no idea what 'random' entitles as if its not GPA, reference letters and a keen interest into the program doesn't make you a good candidate for a four month certification after applying diligently for the past three years then who is the best candidate? 5. When I reached out to see if I could appeal their, random admission process. I received email saying I should try 'other' colleges, unfortunately with a B.S. SLP there are only two programs in California rest of them are Associate degree in SLPA. 6. If trying to get into the program for past three years, is not dedication then not sure how they 'randomly' recognize the right candidate for the program and oh I am NOT a Christian. 5. They do not require you to submit GPA or reference letters.
