The first thing to say about this program is it’s not a clinical program which means if you do not wish to pursue the PhD program you are screwed. No option for licensure. I think the only really good part of the program are the teachers for the most part but for the price and the payoff it makes no sense. The director said it’s the knowledge and not what you can get with the program on a masters level. It makes sense to either do MHC or SW and get licensed. Don’t waste your money.

I completed all course work in the program. When I went to write my dissertation. When he did finally reply to my second request for communication, he basically told me to go away. I was not supported by the Dean, who took 9 weeks and two messages to reply, or by the Vice President of Student Affairs, who promised to get back to me after his investigation, but never did. My experience at Nova South Eastern has been excellent. The Professors are approachable, consistent, they follow-up with student concerns and questions. Generally all staff at Nova South Eastern, displayed good customer service practice. During my academic studies at Nova South Eastern I took ill with Cancer, and was not able to find any resources available to assist with the financial aide aspect, after taking a leave of absence. Although my overall experience with NMova was great, I see a need for the school to provide better directions for those students that take ill with terminal illness.
